Serving Opportunities

As we continue to grow as a church family, so does the calling of more and more people by the Lord to serve in our different areas of ministry in the church. We have several serving opportunities available. Please consider serving in one of these areas!

Children's Team Serving Opportunities

In the Children's Ministry, our process for serving is simple: You come and observe, complete an application and background check form, dialogue with Mr. Michael about your place of service and then we place you on the team to strengthen our group. No experience necessary — we will equip and educate you on what we do. Listed below are some immediate needs for summer as well as fall. We will be happy to answer any questions you have about these positions: Small Group Leader, Audio/Visual Team, Actors/Actresses, AWANA & MORE!

We have these specific needs right now so that you will know as you pray.....contact me if the Lord nudges you to come and observe with no obligations but just to "come and see."

Need two small group leaders at 8:45 to serve alongside another leader in either Kindergarten or 1st Grade Boys
Need some able bodies to come and sit with kids and build relationships with them while watching and participating in 252 Xtra at 10:00am or 6:30pm.
Need people who love the theatre and the opportunity to act in front of the most forgiving audience around: elementary age children at the 10:00 or 6:30 hour, called 252 Xtra.
Need a person or persons who would serve as a greeter and assimilator during either the 8:45, 11:15, 5:15 or 6:30pm hours to greet new families, help check in guests and assimilate them into our programming.
Need adults who would spend time with children on Wednesday nights and help them recite and understand God's Word during Awana.
Need some people who love the tech side of things to serve in our AV area at any of our programming hours

Celebrate Recovery Meal — Service Opportunity

Each week, during our fellowship time and before our large group/worship time, we serve a meal to Celebrate Recovery participants. If you enjoy meal preparation, have a couple of available hours on Thursday afternoons to contribute, and are looking for a place to serve, email please Phillip@NewVisionOnline.net.

First Impressions Team Opportunities

If you would like to work with our First Impression Team, text Glenda right now at 342-9250 with your name, contact information and the area you would like to serve in! We especially need volunteers to escort our guests from the Welcome Centers to their destination in the facility. We also need parking attendants from 9:30-10:30 each Sunday morning. We always have room for additional kiosk operators, greeters and shuttle bus drivers! Go ahead... send that TXT now while it’s on your mind!

Greeters & Mappers

We have an immediate need for greeters and a first-time guest “mapper” at the Murfreesboro campus, and kiosk operators, greeters and welcome center volunteers at the Smyrna campus. If you’re interested in helping... or you just want to know what a “mapper” does, email Glenda@NewVisionOnline.net!

Kiosk Operator

Assist members and regular attendees check in for worship services, connection classes and other events and activities. No computer knowledge necessary, we can train you.

Welcome Center Host

Register newcomers with a warm welcome and friendly face, answer any questions they might have, and familiarize them with our campus and facilities.

Shuttle Bus Driver

Shuttle guests to and from the outer parking lots Sunday mornings. (You are not required to have a CDL license to drive the shuttle in our parking lot.)

Preschool Team

If you love children, our preschool is the perfect opportunity to serve in a BIG way! You'll not only help children learn more about our God and Savior, but also give parents the opportunity to grow their faith! Contact Paige@NewVisionOnline.net for more information.
